Within all The GORSE Academies Trust schools, we have high standards and expectations for our pupils, including clear guidelines in our Positive Discipline policy to ensure that all pupils reach their potential academically and are successful in social situations.

Positive Discipline is the framework that ensures that pupils alongside members of staff can work together in a positive environment where they feel safe and secure whilst in the academy.

One way in which pupils are rewarded for their behaviour is through the collection of stamps in their planner. They can be given for a variety of reasons including participation in enrichment++ activities, a positive attitude to learning and behaving in a manner which sets an example of excellence to others. These stamps are recorded over the course of the year, and when pupils reach certain milestones, they can receive additional rewards including postcards and the opportunity to take part in a range of trips and experiences.
