Course: Cambridge National Child Development
The course consists of two pieces of coursework and a written exam.
R018: Written exam which is a 1 hour and 15 minutes, it looks into factors that need to be taken into consideration when planning to start a family. Students will also learn about different methods of contraception, methods of delivery, the process of labour, development of the baby into a child and the safety that needs to be put in place for children.
R019: Coursework where the students will look at the equipment needed for a child from birth to 5 years of age. Looking in detail at the equipment at each stage of a child’s life and nutritional needs of a child.
R020: Coursework where students will look at the development of child from birth to five years. Looking in detail at the physical, emotional and social skills that children develop.
